Ka'imi Fairbairn was perfect in his season debut, kicking two field goals, including a 45-yarder at the end of the first half, as the Texans beat the Colts 20-20 in their season opener.

Fairbairn's first field goal came from 37 yards out in the first quarter, giving the Texans a 3-0 lead. He added his 45-yarder as time expired in the first half, giving the Texans a 10-7 lead at the break.

Fairbairn's performance was a bright spot in a game that was otherwise filled with mistakes by both teams. The Texans committed 10 penalties for 85 yards, while the Colts had nine penalties for 75 yards.

Despite the penalties, the Texans were able to pull out the win thanks to a strong performance from their defense. The Texans held the Colts to just 261 yards of offense and forced two turnovers.

The Texans will look to improve to 2-0 next week when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts will try to rebound when they host the Denver Broncos.
